India sings and celebrates with Jio’s iconic take on Vande Matram this Independence Day

The pandemic has changed the way we meet and interact with people in general. This 74th Independence Day, it is no different but that hasn’t dampened our festive spirit. We’ve been leading a virtual life, being connected with one another through technology. This day too we unite online to celebrate this momentous day as citizens of India.

Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom & connectivity service provider recently launched JioMeet, a video call and team collaboration application. It has been one of the most preferred applications for video calling, across the country.

Using the very platform, the JioMeet team in collaboration with Schbang has announced ‘the human box’ rendition of our national song – Vande Mataram to celebrate India’s 74th year of Independence. The conceptualisation and end to end execution has been handled virtually via JioMeet.

The video sees an A Capella version of the song that comes to life by the very talented group –  Aflatunes. The belief of the group is that there is no better instrument than that of ones voice box. And the rendition is a beautiful showcase of just that.

It’s been a rough period for all, but times are changing and technology has been bringing people together. To the never dying spirit of our country and to being home and staying safe – Jai Hind.
