Month In A Nutshell July Edition

August 7, 2026

Schbang's July: Count the Wins, We Lost Count
‍

July didn't slow down for anyone. Big-ticket films, sharper media performance, a London chapter with more history than most people knew, and a team that keeps finding reasons to celebrate on and off the clock. This isn't a highlight reel. It's the full machine, running at once. Scroll down, nothing's been left out.
‍

‍
1. BookMyShow Got the First Look at Supergirl
‍

Supergirl is landing in theatres soon, and anticipation needed a proper kickoff. But instead of a traditional promo, we asked a simpler question: what does Supergirl do when she's just enjoying the city? The answer took us straight to Mumbai's most iconic spots and street food. We built a concept film around her discovering the city the way anyone would, relatably, curiously, one iconic corner at a time. For BookMyShow, it set the tone for everything coming next while making the platform feel like the natural home for moments worth booking. There's more coming on this one.

‍

2. Specta Surfaces Brought In Chef Vikas Khanna

‍

A new tile collection needed a face. But more than a face, it needed a feeling. We knew Chef Vikas Khanna was the right choice, but the real challenge was building a film that felt as natural as he is while weaving the product in without it feeling forced. So we built a BTS-style film, letting the format do the heavy lifting. Less of an ad, more of a peek behind the process. He admired the collection the way a craftsman recognises another craftsman's work, and the film let that speak for itself. His credibility became the strongest sell in the room.

‍

3. X Camper's Website Got a Full Rebuild

‍

Camper rentals shouldn't feel more complicated than the trip itself. The X Camper website had friction baked into every step of the booking journey, and we took it apart piece by piece. We identified where users were dropping off, simplified navigation, reduced unnecessary steps, and rebuilt the experience around how a first-time renter actually thinks. The result is
a website that gets out of its own way and lets the adventure be the sell. We recommend watching the breakdown video for the full picture.

‍

4. Schbang Has Been in the UK Since 2022. This Month, We Got Louder.

‍

Schbang has had boots on the ground in London since 2022. This month, we opened up about something we've been quietly building: Little Schbang. It's a six-week brand sprint that packs research, strategy, a big creative idea, and full campaign assets into one fixed-cost project with no ongoing commitment. Research and strategy to understand the brand, the audience, and the space. A big idea and manifesto to set the creative foundation. Campaign creatives and designed assets, ready to launch. Big brand thinking, without the big brand timeline. A little portion of Schbang, at a little cost, for a little time. The only thing big is the ambition behind it.

‍

‍

5. Louis Philippe Found Italy in Every Thread

‍

For Louis Philippe's premium Italian linen collection, we didn't want to make another fashion campaign. We wanted to celebrate the craft behind the fabric. So we asked ourselves: what else does Italy create with the same precision, patience, and pride as its linen? The answer led us to Italian culinary craftsmanship, and straight to MAMI Bombay's founder, Enrico Signorelli. What made the collaboration truly special was an authentic discovery: Enrico grew up just minutes away from the Albini mill in Italy, the very mill where Louis Philippe sources its linen. That turned the idea from a brand collaboration into a story of shared provenance. It wasn't fashion meeting food. It was one craft recognising another, and the film let that connection do all the talking.

‍

6. Castrol Made Bike Smooth Mean Life Smooth

‍

Nobody wants to watch a product pitch about engine oil. So we didn't make one. For Castrol Activ Full Synthetic, we built the campaign around the kind of bike-life moments every rider actually recognises, the ones that make you nod and laugh at the same time. The mechanic steps in naturally as the solution, letting humour and storytelling carry the message instead of a hard sell. The idea stayed simple throughout: bike smooth toh life smooth. When the insight is that true, you don't need to push it.

‍

‍

7. Bridgestone's Seven Blogs Outperformed the Full Playbook

‍

More content doesn't always mean more results. For Bridgestone, we made a deliberate call to publish with intent rather than at scale. Seven SEO-driven blogs, each built around high-intent user queries and real search demand, with quality at the centre of every brief. Within three months, that focused approach delivered 4.2K+ organic clicks, 650K+ impressions, and 40+ keywords ranking in Google's Top 3. A small set of strategically planned blogs laid the foundation for sustained organic growth, and proved that knowing what to write matters far more than how much you write.

‍

8. We Explained Why Ranking First Isn't Enough Anymore

‍

Ranking number one on Google means very little if AI models like Gemini, Claude, and ChatGPT have never heard of you. We built a swipeable checklist that breaks down the difference between AEO, which gets you the answer, and GEO, which gets you the mention, and why both now matter to how brands get discovered in an AI-first search landscape. It's the kind of thinking we bring into every strategy conversation, not just the ones about search. If you haven't seen it yet, the carousel is worth a scroll.

‍

‍

9. Figaro Brought In Someone Equally Multipurpose

‍

Figaro Olive Oil built its reputation on being the multipurpose oil. So when they wanted to promote their new packaging, we knew the film needed someone who embodied that same quality. Enter Sunil Grover, a man who is, by every measure, multipurpose. We gave him three different characters to play across two films, the main film and a behind-the-scenes cut on why we chose him specifically, and added raw BTS moments to give it texture and honesty. The film leaned into that shared identity of versatility, and the audience and digital media enjoyed it thoroughly.

‍

10. Mochi Shoes Owned Monsoon's Main Character Energy

‍

The brief was straightforward: talk about Crocs during monsoon season. What we knew was that monsoon defeats every shoe, every outfit, every plan. What we also knew was that the generation we were talking to never got that memo. For Gen Z, the feed is always waterproof. Content doesn't pause for rain. So we built the campaign around that truth: Feed Over Forecast. Models giving a metaphorical middle finger to umbrellas. Crocs front and centre. Soaked streets, unbothered faces, phone always up. Because for them, the weather is just a backdrop. Schbang Motion Pictures took it from brief to screen.

‍

‍

11. A Leading Global Lift Brand's Lead Quality Kept Climbing

‍

Steady, consistent growth defined this month's performance for a leading global lift brand. Lead volume grew 9% month-on-month, conversion rate hit 9.5%, nearly 1.7x above the previous benchmark, and blended lead qualification landed at 44%, comfortably ahead of industry standard. The numbers reflect not just more leads, but sharper ones. Better targeting, better qualification, better outcomes across the board.

‍

12. Schbang UK Launched Little Schbang for Ambitious Brands

‍

Little Schbang is built for brands that are ambitious but don't want to commit to a long-term agency engagement before they know what they're getting. A six-week sprint that delivers research, a big creative idea, and full campaign assets at one fixed cost. It's the same creative firepower Schbang brings to its biggest clients, packaged for businesses that are on their way to becoming the world's largest brands. Big brand thinking, without the big brand timeline.

‍

‍

13. MTR Foods Got Its Sambhar an Anthem

‍

We're emotionally invested in sambhar, so naturally, we gave MTR Foods' sambhar a song of its own. It's on loop in the office and we're not sorry about it. Sometimes the best campaigns come from taking something people already love and giving it the spotlight it always deserved. An anthem felt like the only right answer.

‍

‍

14. Fevicol Proved Stronger Than Spiderman's Web

‍

Spiderman can move anything with his web. Except a bottle of Fevicol. We built the film around that exact contradiction, letting the Pull karo, stick karo, push karo track carry the humour through without ever letting the product feel like it was trying too hard. The result is a film that proves Fevicol's grip is stronger than any superpower money can buy, and funnier than most ads that try to say the same thing.

‍

15. A Leading Hearing Implant Brand's Lead Quality Sharpened

‍

Sharper Meta LeadGen targeting and tighter Google Brand Search terms drove this month's performance for a leading hearing implant brand. SALs grew 10% month-on-month, cost per SAL dropped 38% on Meta and 22% on Search, and SAL to Lead conversion jumped 74% on the back of high-relevance audience cohorts built around premium and babycare consumer segments. Better targeting produced better leads, and better leads produced better outcomes across every metric that mattered.

‍

16. The SEO Team Earned Their Trip to Goa

‍

One brief, one pop-culture campaign for a real client, and four people from the SEO team who went well beyond what was asked. Their effort earned them an all-expenses-paid trip to Abby's in Goa. Culture isn't just what we build for clients. It's what we build for each other, and great work doesn't go unnoticed internally either.

‍

17. Maybelline's Gel Leaks Made Mirrors Unmissable

‍

For the launch of Lifter Gel, Maybelline's high-shine lip gloss range in 8 fruity beverage-inspired shades, we built Gel Leaks, a content series rooted in the idea of falling into the Gel Spell. Each film follows a girl so mesmerised by her own glossy reflection that she stays completely fixated on it while chaos unfolds around her. Sensorial, Gen Z-first, and built to make the product's biggest promise impossible to ignore.

‍

‍

18. Specta Surfaces' Colours Crossed 72 Lakh Impressions

‍

The idea started with a simple observation: some colours stop the world. An ambulance's grey, a bomb's red, a kitchen's brown, a police standoff's green. We reframed those same colours as Specta's own surface finishes and built four films around them: Lustre Grey, Lustre Red, Sahara Swirl, and Mint Mirage. Running Ambulance, Bomb, Kitchen, and Police across Meta, X, and Google let us test how one sharp creative idea travels across very different platforms and formats. On Meta's Reach and Frequency campaign alone, the films delivered over 27.5 lakh impressions with an 11% hook rate. Across Meta, X, and Google combined, the campaign crossed 72 lakh+ impressions. A sharp, simple idea holds up no matter where it lands.

‍

19. ACCA's Pre-Buzz Strategy Reset the Accountant Narrative

‍

Before introducing ACCA's vision of the modern accountant, we needed to understand what people already believed. During the Pre-Buzz phase, we deployed interactive content, vox pops, and creator collaborations to surface the clichΓ©s head-on: calculators, Excel cells, monotonous routines. Then we built a Meta-led strategy to challenge them directly. Partnering with top industry creators amplified the narrative across student and professional cohorts. Direct Meta Pre-Buzz ads alone generated 16.10 million impressions and 70.8K link clicks. Short-form Reel creatives outperformed static banners by 2x in click volume, delivering an average CTR of 7.9% against 0.9% for static formats. The right format matters as much as the right message.

‍

‍

20. Indriya's Diamond Campaign Found Its Perfect Faces

‍

Indriya's Diamond collection needed influencers who could make sparkle like her feel like more than a tagline. Our Fluence team brought in the right voices to carry that promise, matching the brand's world to creators whose audiences already lived in it. The result was an influencer activation that felt earned rather than staged, which is exactly how fine jewellery should show up.

‍

‍

‍

21. Kumari Jewels Took Over the Mahjong Table

‍

Kumari Jewels sits in a world where the right woman already owns fine jewellery. She isn't shopping her way toward it. Reaching her was never about visibility. It was about being in the room she was already in. That room, this month, was Mahjong. What started as a quiet card game had become something this circle built entire evenings around, women taking coaching for it, hosting rounds at home, and building communities through it. Kumari's own founder was already one of them, playing for the love of the game long before anyone thought to build a campaign around it. So instead of a campaign aimed at this audience, we built the room she wanted to walk into. We turned the founder's love for Mahjong into an event, bringing together women who loved the game and loved their jewellery. Winners walked away with prizes exclusive enough to matter to women who didn't need another prize. A WhatsApp community formed on its own, the kind that outlasts an event because nobody was asked to join it. Instead of showing up as another jewellery brand in the room, Kumari became part of the room itself.

‍

‍

22. One Kumari Idea, Built for Every Surface

‍

For Akshaya Tritiya, we flipped the traditional narrative of buying gold for prosperity and said something different: she is already deserving, and she knows it. To carry that narrative consistently, we built a single design system flexible enough to hold its own across every format. Billboards, newspapers, bus stands, and digital assets all carried the same cohesive identity. Consistency across touchpoints can be just as powerful as one big idea, and this month it proved exactly that.

‍

23. Fevicol and Enamor Took Home ET Sharks Wins

‍

Fevicol won Retail Consumer Product of the Year. Enamor picked up Bronze for Disruptive Brand of the Year at the ET Sharks Awards. Two very different categories, two very different brands, one shared thread: work built with enough sharpness to stand out on an industry stage.

‍

‍

24. CRIF Won Big at ET Finnext Awards 2026

‍

CRIF took home the ET Finnext Award 2026 for Excellence in Digital Marketing in Financial Services, recognising the Credit Score Dekha Kya campaign. Behind the win sat a strategy and storytelling approach built to make a dry financial category feel genuinely engaging. Proof that even the most functional categories deserve a sharp creative lens.

‍

25. We Opened Our Space Up on Weekends

‍

10,000 square feet of Schbang's Mumbai office, free for anyone on weekends who has an idea and needs a home for it. The invite wasn't dressed up with a campaign behind it, just an open floor, empty desks, and a standing offer to anyone building something worth building. Sometimes the most generous thing an agency can do is get out of the way.

‍

26. Britannia Bourbon's Case Study Finally Went Live

‍

Last year's Britannia Bourbon x Bombay Sweet Shop collaboration, built around a Chocolate Modak that earned strong organic love, finally got its full case study treatment this month. Revisiting the campaign gave us a chance to unpack exactly what made the idea travel. And it hinted at more collaborations in this space to come.

‍

27. Connect 2026 Got a Visual Identity Worth Remembering

‍

For Connect 2026, our Amsterdam team built a clear and consistent visual identity applied across every event touchpoint. Built around the idea that every connection leaves something behind, the experience felt human, layered, and distinctly non-corporate. The kind of identity that makes an event feel like it was always meant to look exactly this way.

‍

28. DPG Grow Found Its Rhythm

‍

Every year our Amsterdam team develops an overarching event identity for DPG Grow. In 2026, the identity was built around the rhythm of attention. A heartbeat system became the visual thread running across video, social, email, and presentation templates, adapting seamlessly across Grow Start and Grow Region. One system, every surface, one very consistent pulse.

‍

29. Tribe and You&AI Got Two Identities That Felt Human

‍

For one of the Netherlands' leading financial organisations, our Amsterdam team created two internal brand identities: one connecting people and performance, and one unifying its AI learning ecosystem. Both directions put human connection at the centre while giving each project a distinct and recognisable visual language. Two briefs, two identities, one consistent philosophy behind both.

‍

30. Mighty Spice Showed Up in British Kitchens, Consistently

‍

Mighty Spice is a Pune-based spice mix brand that is quietly becoming a household name in the UK, making authentic Indian curries fast, easy, and genuinely good. Our London team works to make Indian food feel contemporary, accessible, and culturally relevant in the British everyday. Through UGC that celebrates real customer moments, seasonal recipes, and timely cultural hooks like the FIFA World Cup, we keep Mighty Spice part of the conversation without ever making it feel like a campaign. That's the job: keep the brand fresh, keep it relevant, keep it in the kitchen.

‍

‍

31 Kunafa Se Hoga Munafa: Britannia Turned a Snack into a Dubai Windfall.Β

‍

Monsoon is a dead zone for impulse snacking, and Britannia’s Dubai Kunafa Croissant needed more than trend heat to move off Blinkit shelves. Indian buyers don’t purchase hype, they purchase value, so the brief was never β€œtry the new flavour,” it was β€œwhat’s in it for me.” The answer came from the product’s own name: Kunafa sounds like Munafa, profit, and that one phonetic accident became the entire campaign.

Kunafa Se Hoga Munafa turned a small indulgence into a shot at a Dubai fantasy. Buy the croissant on Blinkit, snap a selfie with it, and run it through an AI prompt built to drop the buyer into a yacht, a desert safari, a luxury Dubai cafΓ©, giving instant aspirational flex at zero production cost, fully user-generated. Post it with #KunafaSeHogaMunafa, tag the brand, and you’re in the draw.

Weekly winners walked away with β‚Ή5,000 in Blinkit vouchers, and one grand winner took home Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses. The mechanic did the heavy lifting no ad spend could: every purchase became content, every content piece became distribution, and every share became fresh demand, turning a slow season into a self-perpetuating loop of buy, generate, flex, repeat.

‍

‍

Seven months down, and the work's only getting sharper. See you next month, same time.
