Creating our first ever feature-length brand film for Finolex Pipes

Telling authentic stories for our partners is the craft that sits at the core of everything we do. Because we believe that when done right, these stories can inspire entire generations to continue the rich legacies that were nurtured by the thinkers that came before them.

Our first-of-its-kind heartwarming short film “Pralhad” paid tribute to Shri Pralhad P. Chhabria, Founder of Finolex Industries, revealing the backstory of how he built his ₹10,000 crore empire. After losing his father at the tender age of fourteen, he left his home in Amritsar (now in Pakistan) to set up shop in Bombay with a mere ₹10 in his pocket.

Peppered with the nostalgia and spirit of the bygone era, the gorgeously shot film embodies the core values that guided him on his quest and continue to form the backbone of the Finolex community across the nation. The film is Schbang Motion Pictures’ first-ever short film production and is written and directed by Ayan Mukherjee.

Since its release on YouTube in September 2021, it has already amassed 5.5 million views. “Pralhad” also shined brightly in 22+ film festivals across the globe, including the Moscow International Film Festival, Uruvatti International Film Festival, Norgs International Independent Festival (NIFF) and Krimson Horyzon International Film Festival.
