Ganesh Chaturthi campaign celebrates how master artisans and tyre engineers both move millions through unwavering dedication, passion, and pursuit of perfection
Bridgestone has launched its compelling Ganesh Chaturthi campaign- 'Masters That Move Millions’ that honors the exceptional artistry of renowned idol maker Rajan Patkar, whose sustainable clay creations have graced Mumbai's iconic Girgaoncha Raja celebrations for years. Created and conceptualised by Schbang, the campaign draws powerful parallels between Patkar's traditional craftsmanship and Bridgestone's engineering excellence, celebrating how both move millions through unwavering dedication to their craft.
The campaign emerges from Bridgestone's deep cultural understanding after nearly three decades in India. Featuring Rajan Patkar, whose sustainable clay idols grace the historic Girgaoncha Raja celebrations (dating back to 1928), represents the brand's respect for enduring traditions. Schbang's creative approach centers on "virtuosity recognizing virtuosity", revealing how Patkar's meticulous artistry and Bridgestone's engineering innovation both stem from the same pursuit of excellence that serves millions.
The film weaves festival celebrations with intimate moments of Patkar's craft, showcasing how his sustainable idol-making aligns with Bridgestone's responsible innovation philosophy. This storytelling approach connects the brand's "Serving Society with Superior Quality" mission with the emotional resonance of India's most beloved festival, proving that excellence transcends industries when purpose drives passion.
Chirag Shah from Schbang added, "In a world driven by quick scrolls and thumb-stopping moments, this film is an invitation to pause and experience the art of mastery, both in the hands of an idol maker and in the purpose of the brand. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, our aim was to engage the audience with a beautiful story where Bridgestone’s devotion to mastering every journey finds a quiet parallel in the sculptor’s craft. Because some journeys don’t just move wheels, they move millions."
The 'Masters That Move Millions' campaign reinforces Bridgestone's position as a brand deeply rooted in Indian culture while showcasing how true mastery, whether in clay or rubber, comes from years of dedication to serving society with superior quality.
